Elementary School

At Holy Cross Lutheran School, we are dedicated to providing a Christ-centered, academically excellent, and safe learning environment where every child can thrive. Our traditional academic program emphasizes core subjects—including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Bible—to build a strong faith-based foundation for lifelong learning.
Students benefit from a wide range of hands-on learning experiences and exceptional enrichment opportunities. Our curriculum is enhanced by specialty classes in Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, and Computer Technology, helping students grow creatively, physically, and technologically.
As part of our commitment to offering a vibrant Christian school experience, students regularly participate in meaningful enrichment activities such as Black History Month celebrations, Haitian Flag Day, Lutheran Schools Week, the annual Spelling Bee, educational field trips, the Christmas Play, and more. These events strengthen cultural awareness, school spirit, and community engagement.
Every classroom features an interactive whiteboard, and elementary students use Chromebooks to support digital literacy and interactive instruction. Eligible students may also take advantage of Title 1 remedial tutoring, ensuring personalized academic support for continued success.
At Holy Cross Lutheran School, we believe that academic excellence, Christian values, a safe and caring environment, and rich enrichment opportunities work together to nurture confident, compassionate, and capable learners.
